1. About this policy
Aurliya Royalmint ("we", "our" or "us") provides the Darood Live mobile application and related website. This Privacy Policy applies when you use Darood Live, create an account, record a reading, view community activity or contact us.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, Darood Live may collect and process:
- Account information: your account identifier, email address, full name, authentication information and optional profile photo.
- Profile and location information: the country, city and optional region or state that you enter in your profile. This is user-provided location information; Darood Live does not require precise GPS location for its core reading features.
- Preferences: selected languages, counter settings, animation choices and other app preferences.
- Darood and Tasbeeh activity: each count you submit, the date and time of submission, your daily total and the country, region and city saved in your profile at the time of submission.
- Community participation: a record that your account has participated in a particular city. This is used internally to count unique participants without publishing your name or email address.
- Live activity information: your account identifier, selected country and city, and the date and time the app last reported that you were active. This supports the Live Readers feature.
- Technical information: app version, device type, operating system, crash information and basic diagnostic data needed to maintain the service, where such diagnostics are enabled.
- Communications: information you choose to include when you contact support.
Darood Live does not need access to your phone contacts, SMS messages or precise GPS location for its core reading features.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create, authenticate and secure your account;
- save your profile, preferences, submitted counts and daily progress;
- calculate global and city-wise Darood totals and unique participant counts;
- show recent live-reader activity by city and country;
- operate community leaderboards and other aggregated statistics;
- respond to support requests, prevent misuse, diagnose technical problems and improve Darood Live; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our users, rights and service.
4. Community totals and live-reader visibility
Darood Live displays community information such as global Darood totals, city-wise totals and participant counts. These statistics are aggregated and do not include your name, email address or personal reading history.
To operate the Live Readers feature, Darood Live records a pseudonymous account identifier together with your selected country, city and last-active time. Other authenticated Darood Live users can access these recent live-reader records through the service. The app is designed to use them for live city/country activity and not to display your name or email address.
A reader is normally treated as live for up to five minutes after the most recent activity signal. The five-minute window controls live status; it does not necessarily mean the underlying record is immediately deleted after five minutes.
5. Supabase and other service providers
Darood Live uses Supabase to provide authentication, database storage, secure server-side functions and real-time updates. Supabase may process account, profile, submitted-count, city participation and live-activity information on our behalf. We may also use other trusted providers for file storage, hosting, analytics, crash reporting or customer support. These providers process information to provide services to us and are subject to their own security, privacy and legal obligations.
6. Data sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose limited information to service providers, when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer where appropriate safeguards apply.
7. Data retention and deletion
We retain account-linked information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Darood Live, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Live-reader records are updated as you use the live feature and may remain stored after the five-minute live window until they are updated, deleted or removed with your account.
If you delete your Darood Live account, account-linked profile, submission, daily-total, city-participation and live-reader records are designed to be deleted from the active database. Previously contributed global or city-level aggregated totals may remain because they no longer identify you and form part of the community's historical count. Backup copies may remain for a limited period where required for security, disaster recovery or legal compliance.

8. Security
We use access controls and other reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Database row-level security is used to restrict account-linked profile, submission and daily-total records. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Children’s privacy
Darood Live is not specifically directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it where required.
10. Your choices and rights
You may update certain profile details and preferences in the app. To stop appearing as recently active, close or leave the live feature; your live status should expire after the five-minute activity window, although the underlying record may be retained as described above. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or object to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Darood Live changes or legal requirements evolve. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
